Description: Basic aluminum (metal) salt consisting of aluminum, chloride and water. Off-white powder, no odor. Soluble in cold water or alcohol. pH Value: 4 - 5 (15 % watery solution). CAS# 12042-91-0.

INCI Name: Aluminum chlorohydrate.

Properties: Excellent & most widely used antiperspirant (reduces secretion of sweat) & deodorant (reduces malodor by inhibiting bacterial growth), very low irritant potency.

Use: Typical use level 5 – 25% (25% = maximum allowed by FDA & Health Canada).

Application: Antiperspirant & deodorant products as sticks, roll-ons, aerosols, creams, gels, sprays.
