Description: skin-identical lipid concentrate which restores protective barrier function of the skin, consists of a multi-lamellar system with ceramides, cholesterol, free fatty acids & phytosphingosine that resembles the structure of the lipid barrier the skin. Viscous liquid. CAS# 100403-19-8, 13552-11-9, 80356-14-5, 13557-75-0, 600-07-7, 11138-66-2.

INCI Name: Ceramide 3, ceramide 6 II, ceramide 1, phytosphingosine, cholesterol, sodium lauroyl lactylate, carbomer, xanthan gum.

Properties: Incorporates ceramides (skin-identical lipids) thereby restoring barrier function of skin, deeply moisturizes & protects skin, increases bioavailability of ceramide VI by more than 38 %.

Use: Add to aqueous phase of formulas. Typical use level 1 - 15%. May lower viscosity when added to existing o/w emulsions. Viscous liquid. Store in refrigerator.

Application: Anti-aging / anti-wrinkle creams, lotions. Creams for sensitive & dry skin, sun care & after sun products. Shelf life ~6months when refrigerated.
