Description: USDA Certified Organic. Mulberry root extract comes from the white Mulberry tree that is native to China, but cultivated in Europe, Japan, Australia and North America. The extract has been used for centuries in Chinese Medicine. Newer discoveries make it very useful in skin care. Light to medium golden yellow liquid, soluble in water, pH ~5. CAS# 94167-05-2.

INCI Name: Morus alba root extract, glycerin, water.

Properties: Promotes hair growth, lightens age spots and uneven skin tone. Has good antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties. Can be combined with other skin lighteners such as skinwhite BLE, licorice extract, kojic acid, skinwhite msh, and alpha-arbutin.

Use: Add to formulas as is, typical use level: 1 - 10%. For external use only.

Application: Skin lightening products, serums, face creams, anti-aging, masks, makeup.
