Description: High purity carbon black prepared by the “oil furnace” process. Manufactured by combustion of aromatic petroleum oil feedstock and consists essentially of pure carbon. Fine black powder. Water in-soluble. Color index: 77266. CAS#: 1333-86-4.

INCI Name: CI 77266 (black no. 2 D&C).

Properties: Deep black pigment for coloring mascaras but also other color cosmetic products.

Use: It is allowed in all cosmetic products, US, Europe and Japan. External use only.

Application: Mascaras, eyeliners, brush-on-brow, eye shadows, lipsticks, blushers & foundations.
