Description: Low-molecular weight proteins derived from soft wheats (MW 1000-1500 kDa). Does not contain gluten. Provides amino acids & high glutamine levels to skin & hair. Amber liquid, faint odor. CAS# 70084-87-6, 7732-18-5, 122-99-6.

INCI Name: Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein.

Properties: Excellent tensor & film-forming properties (increases firmness of the skin), nourishes and smoothes skin & hair (improves skin feeling & softness), moisture retainer (protects skin & hair from drying out), decreases number and depth of wrinkles, volumizing effects.

Use: Can be added to formulations as is, recommended final concentration 0.5 - 5%.

Application: High-quality skin & hair care products including creams, lotions, shampoos & conditioners (especially for dry skin & hair), sun care, after sun & makeup products, excellent for eye contour treatment.

Zinc Oxides: Which One is Right for You?
Regular zinc oxide has a particle size of >200 nm (nanometer), a visible whitening effect on the skin, is water dispersible, gives great coverage in makeup products and lip balms, and offers good protection in baby care products.
Micronized zinc oxide has a particle size of <200nm (mean 86nm), has a minimal whitening effect on the skin, is water dispersible, offers superior sun protection but does not offer coverage in makeup products.
Micronized zinc oxide coated with silicone offers basically the same features as non-coated micronized zinc oxide but is easier to disperse in oils, and works well in formulas containing carbomers.
