Description: Natural extract from the seeds & pulp of grapefruits, active ingredients stem from bioflavonoids belonging to the class of quaternary ammonium compounds as diphenol hydroxybenzene, the solvent is glycerine, pH 2-3 (10% solution). Viscous, bronze color, faint odor. Soluble in water. CAS# 90045-43-5.

INCI Name: Citrus grandis.

Concentration: available as 33% or 60% concentrated.

Properties: Natural biocide reducing growth of yeasts, molds & bacteriae.

Use: Can be added to cold or hot cosmetic formulas (just before the addition of fragrance), usual concentration is 0.5-1% (for more complex formulas 2-3% is necessary). For highly effective and/or long-term preservation combination with broadspectrum preservatives (e.g parabens) is strongly recommended.

Applications: All kinds of personal care products.
