Description: 25% ultafine (micronized) titanium dioxide dispersed in water for easy formulating, gives UVA and UVB protection. Particle size is less than 100nm. Contains Water, titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide and sodium hexametaphosphate. White to off-white thixotropic (gel-like, but fluid when agitated) dispersion with characteristic odor, liquefies upon stirring. Soluble in water, insoluble in oil. Properties: Powerful broad spectrum UV filter that is water based and therefore non-greasy, has a synergistic effect when combined with other sun screens. Can be used in water based products such as creams and lotions where sun protection is desired.
Use: 5 - 30%, used as any other ingredient of the water phase. 3.3% corresponds to an SPF of about 2. Shake or stir dispersion before use.
