| Ordering There is no minimum order. You can order by phone, fax, mail, email or from our website with our secure on-line order processing system. If you order by phone, fax, mail, or email, please add all specifications required, including quantity, item number, description, price, name, shipping address, telephone number and email address.

| Shipping We currently ship FedEx and USPS (US Postal Service) within the US and internationally. Shipping charges may vary from the amount indicated by the automatic shipping calculator since the weight calculated in the website may differ from the actual package weight due to the packaging material. There is a handling fee of $2.90 on all packages. |
| Shipping in the US: Within the US
orders are generally shipped with FedEx Ground or USPS. However, you
can also choose FedEx Expedited Services. Please note that FedEx
does not deliver to P.O. boxes; please provide us your full shipping
address. Orders above $500 will require signature confirmation.
Packages can be tracked on-line. Insurance can be added at buyer
expense. USPS Express Mail indemnity coverage of $100 automatically
included. Coverage up to $5,000 available also for Priority Mail,
ask us for insurance prices. International Shipping:
International orders are shipped with USPS Express or Priority Mail.
The Express service is a reliable high-speed mail service available
to about 190 countries. Packages can be tracked on-line. USPS
Express Mail indemnity coverage of $100 automatically included.
Coverage up to $5,000 available ask us for insurance prices. Orders
shipped with USPS Priority can also be tracked on-line. There is no
indemnity coverage of $100 included. Delivery time for USPS Express
Packages Internationally is usually between 3-5 business days, for
USPS Priority Mail Internationally it is between 6-10 business days. Lost Packages: We can not take responsibility for the shipment (i.e. in case of lost packages we will not refund anything and/or re-shipping will be on the customer’s cost). However we take effort in tracking the package and file a claim and notify the buyer of the outcome. |
| Back Orders All products are usually in stock and readily available. However, although we are constantly increasing our inventories, it may happen that an item runs out-of-stock. Please advise us you desire the item back-ordered as out-of-stocks are not automatically back-ordered. |
| Return Policy Products are returnable in the event of shipping error or if items are damaged or spilled. We must be contacted within five days of receipt of the order to authorize the return. We then will pay for shipping and reship the new item. All sales are final after five days. If orders are returned to us without authorization and/or after five days of receipt we reserve the right to send it back to the customer without notice or charge a restocking/discarding fee of 35% of the original purchase price. If packages are damaged upon receipt, you must contact us immediately and also the shipping carrier (FedEx or USPS) immediately in order to make a claim as we can not take responsibility for damaged packages. We will then file a claim with the carrier. |
| Risk of Loss All items purchased from MakingCosmetics.com Inc. are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. |
| Payments We accept the following payment methods: - PayPal - Google Checkout - Amazon Checkout - Credit cards including VISA, American Express, MasterCard and Discover - Money orders (payable to: MakingCosmetics.com Inc., Renton WA, 98056) - Wire transfers (contact us for bank details). | Prices Although we strive to maintain low prices, they are subject to change due to market fluctuations. Prices do not include sales tax, shipping & handling charges. |
| Sales Tax For residents of the State of Washington (WA), a sales tax of 9.5% is applicable (subject to change) unless we have a valid WA State Resale Certificate on file. You can access the Resale Certificate on-line here. If WA residents are not charged taxes for any reason, we reserve the right to charge taxes even after a purchase has made. |

| Zinc Oxides: Which One is Right for You? |
| Regular zinc oxide has
a particle size of >200 nm (nanometer), a visible whitening effect on the skin, is water dispersible, gives great coverage in makeup products and lip balms, and
offers good protection in baby care products. Micronized zinc oxide has a particle size of <200nm (mean 86nm), has a minimal whitening effect on the skin, is water dispersible, offers superior sun protection but does not offer coverage in makeup products. Micronized zinc oxide coated with silicone offers basically the same features as non-coated micronized zinc oxide but is easier to disperse in oils, and works well in formulas containing carbomers. |
