Rhapontic Rhubarb Extract

Description: Rheum Rhaponticum (Rhubarb) root extract. Shown to regulate skin desquamation and restore skin moisturization. In-vitro studies indicate that tissue level of ceramides may increase. Contains rhaponticin and hydroxystilbenes which increase the levels of filaggrin and involucrin that are known to improve the cohesion of the stratum corneum and the barrier function of the skin.
