Karanja oil is a cold-pressed oil, extracted from the seeds of the Millettia pinnata tree, also known as Pongamia pinnata. The oil is yellow to light brown and carries a nutty/herbal aroma. The oil is high in oleic fatty acids. It is widely used for personal care products in skin and hair care. Karanja oil is also being used for nourishing and protecting the scalp. It can be added to shampoos and conditioners. For topical application only.
