Description
Acts as a non-ionic emulsifier, surfactant and pH regulating agent. It is an ethoxylated fatty amine. Ideal for alkaline emulsions like hair-dye creams or gels. The compounds vary in polarity depending upon the polyoxyethylene chain length. HLB 6.
Use
Typical use level 1-10%. Add to oil phase of formulas. For external use only.
Applications
Shampoos, hair and skin care cleansing products and in hair color products to aid the dispersion of dyes and wetting hair fibers.
