Non-nano-sized titanium dioxide dispersed in oily emollients for easy formulating at a concentration of 60-70%.

Titanium dioxide is made from the mineral ilmenite and sulfuric acid to produce synthetic rutile which consists then of more than 90% of titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide is then dissolved in a blend of oily emollients including C12-15 alkyl benzoate and polyhydroxystearic acid.
