Description
Cream base made with fruit-derived alpha hydroxy acids providing a slight exfoliating effect for soft and smooth looking skin. Vegan.

  • Helps reduce the appearance of pores
  • Lightweight and can be used as a day and night cream
  • Green Tea helps boost effectiveness on mature skin
Use
Can be used as is or customized further by adding up to 10% (volume percentage) of additional liquid ingredients. Addition of acids should be avoided as this cream already contains various acids and could be destabilized. Being a natural cream base, slight separation during long standing, or warm temperatures can occur, can be reversed by blending. Viscosity may change slightly from batch to batch. Please note: If the base is heavily diluted the viscosity decreases and additional preservatives may be required.

Special Instructions
Be careful when adding acids. Already a small amount of acids such as AHA fruit acids can make the cream unstable and may separate. Please test pH and adjust acidity with TEA (triethanolamine) and test pH again. A good pH is in the range between 4.5 and 6.5. Being a natural cream base, slight separation during long standing, or warm temperatures can occur, can be reversed by blending.
