Manufacture
Isoamyl Laurate is produced via a controlled esterification process in which isoamyl alcohol reacts with lauric acid in the presence of an acid catalyst (p-toluenesulfonic acid). The resulting crude ester is then purified through distillation, removing residual water and unreacted materials, yielding a high-purity isoamyl laurate as the final product.
